David Slipka |
|
President - David
Slipka is a 16 year veteran of the futures industry. He is a gifted
strategist and has an excellent understanding of risk and what it
takes to succeed as a trader. He has experience trading futures,
options on futures, spreads, index options, and foreign exchange.
David is a skilled technician and has a thorough understanding of
chart analytics. David began his career in commodities in 1989 at
John G. Kinnard, a regional brokerage company, where he was a senior
trader/broker, as well as commodity operations manager. In 1996 he
formed Slipka Trading Inc., an independent commodity brokerage firm
of which he is still President. He holds a series 3 license and is a
member of the NFA. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in
finance from Arizona State

Peter Kordell |
|
Consultant: Senior Trader &
Director of Research - Peter Kordell is a 38 year veteran
of the futures industry. He spent the first 7 years of his career in
the cash grain trade where he honed his skills as a research
analyst, hedging strategist, and speculative money manager. From
1977 through 1992 he was a pioneer in the managed futures industry
where he owned his own CTA business. Over the past 14 years he has
spent most of his time serving the needs of the novice trader as a
commodity broker and educator. He is known for his creative research
and unique investment strategies. His ability to educate his clients
can be seen in his Novice Traders Guide to Commodity
Trading which he wrote ten years ago. He is a strong believer
that "a novice trader doesn't have to trade like a novice if he has
the right mentor to help him succeed." Peter holds a B.S. degree in
mathematics, with minors in business administration and physics from
the University of Minnesota. | |

Steven Teaser |
|
Steve is a twenty-plus year veteran of the futures
industry, and is an experienced trader of futures and options,
utilizing a combination of technical and fundamental analysis to
develop trading strategies. Prior to joining STC he worked for
Farmland Industries and North Star Commodities. With an emphasis on
risk management, his background includes the conducting of numerous
educational seminars that provide basic instruction in the
understanding of commodity futures and options, then assisting his
clients in applying that knowledge to commodity
investing.

Gordon Kralovetz |
|
Gordon has been a commodity specialist, trading primarily in
futures and options since 1983. He has a technical trading
background, in addition to over twenty years of fundamental
experience. Gordon has a wide range of experience in handling the
needs of vastly different accounts. He has worked closely with both
individual and commercial traders serving both the speculative and
hedging needs of his clients. He is also a licensed stock broker.

Bretton Jones |
|
IT Consultant Bretton comes to Slipka Trading with a wide ranging
background. He has his bachelors in Political Science from Oakland
University in Michigan. Bretton has worked with businesses to build
their relationships with their customers and create positive
customer experiences. If you should feel you ever need to contact
someone capable of clearing up bottleneck or if you had an off-par

Eric Fodness |
|
Eric is a 10 year market veteran and now holds the
position of Director of Trading Operations for Slipka Trading, Inc.
With a special interest in the metals, his understanding of the
markets is a major plus for clients. He can assist you with many
strategies including credit spreads, debit spreads, long and short
term options, buy and hold, utilizing the forward curve, as well as
many others. Eric holds a series 3 license and a National Futures
Association membership, in addition to a Bachelor of Science degree,
in corporate finance, from Minnesota State University. |

Jereme Pope |
|
Jereme comes to Slipka Trading with a degree in Financial Management from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. In addition, he worked as a floor clerk and broker with MF Global Inc. and Prudential Bache Commodities at the Minneapolis Grain Exchange for 3 years while learning the dynamics of the futures markets from the trading pit. He enjoys assisting new traders as they learn futures and options, as well as seasoned traders ease their transition into a fully electronic trading environment. While combining technical and fundamental approaches, Jereme enjoys being able to assist his clients meet their investment goals over the long term, across a wide range of markets including the metals, energies, grains and the major indices. He is a member of the National Futures Association and a licensed Series III broker. |

Mark Peterson |
|
Mark started with Slipka Trading in 2006.
He holds his Series 3 license and is a member of the National Futures Association.
Mark's focus is assisting customers on market strategies suitable for each individual's equity size and risk tolerance.
His main focus sector is in the metals, energies, stock indices and currencies.
His strong technical and fundamental approach helps optimize profit potential as well as risk management.
Mark believes education is critical in making successful trades. |

Lorena Follmer |
|
Lorena has been integral to the success of Slipka
Trading INC, offering 15 plus years of futures back office
experience. Lorena worked with Cargill Investors services and HTC
Commodities prior to joining Slipka Trading INC in 2003. Lorena has
extensive experience working with the trading floor and outstanding
problem solving skills with our customer trade check-out. |
